The Guilds Show

For the Danish National Guilds show in Copenhagen I collaborated with couturier Susse Thorseng Lærche on creating embroidery for the shoulder and train on one of her dresses. The design is based on a beautiful 18th-century acanthus leaf design which had already been interpreted in embroidery. The design was adapted for the train and shoulder and embroidered on silk organza. The design was then applied to the shoulder and train as appliqué pieces.
